DIY Marble & Copper Clipboard
What do you need :
- Wooden board of your choice
- Copper spray paint
- Adhesive paper with marble pattern
- Metal paperclip
- Brush, cutter, masking tape, protective canvas or newspaper
Step 1 : Decide where you want to have the copper crossing line and protect the wood with paper and mask with tape the surfaces you don’t want to be sprayed.
Step 2 : Go outside or in a well ventilated place to spray the board and the paperclip in copper and let dry.
Step 3 : Varnish the parts that are not covered by the adhesive paper and let dry.
Step 4 : Cut a piece of adhesive paper that is a little bit bigger than the board. Cut a diagonal line through the paper that matches the copper line.
Step 5 : Apply the adhesive by starting with the diagonal line against the copper band. Return the board and, with the cutter, remove the left over adhesive by following the board with the cutter.
Step 6 : Clip the paperclip on the to edge.
